Consultancy

The ACDS offers a wide range of professional consultancy services to address the growing need on the African continent.

Consultancies include:

• Establishing disaster risk management structures (local, provincial and national);
• Setting up disaster management centres;
• Establishing a volunteer base;
• Developing disaster management prevention, preparedness and contingency plans;
• Compiling disaster risk management policies;
• Compiling disaster management operating procedures;
• Risk and vulnerability assessments;
• Community assessments;
• Setting up information and early warning systems;
• Co-ordinating and managing developmental projects;
